This was a big recent custom picture framing project – really! The finished piece clocks in at about 6′ tall by 3.5′ wide, and is framed in a nice furniture-quality square-edged frame. I used a clear acrylic for the covering, and kept the print clear of the acrylic with spacers.
The 4-color print is one in a series of linocuts by artist Caitlin Rueter, who you can see more of at caitlinrueter.com.
I delivered the piece to the client in Oakland last weekend, where they’ll use it as a great accent in the living room. Sweet! Who doesn’t want some life-sized linocuts in their home?
